METC FUN-Raiser

Get ready for a night of singing, dancing, and merriment as we raise funds for Mind's Eye Theatre Company's triumphant return to the stage! Karaoke participants will compete to be karaoke champions at the first-ever FUN-Raiser Karaoke Contest by Mind's Eye Theatre Company. And YOU can choose the champion!  

But don't worry you don't have to sing to participate! The winner will be determined by the donations collected for each performer so bring your friends, cash (or credit card or online payment accounts), and make sure your favorite performer is on top. All donations for performers will be donated to METC for our future productions.   

So kick back, enjoy a beverage from a local brewery, and get lost in the music of the evening (dancing shoes are strongly encouraged)! Bring your friends for a night they’ll never forget.   Donations will be accepted in the forms of cash, credit card, and online.

Participant Admission: Free  

Drinks will be available for purchase at the event.

(Up to 15 participants will have one song to impress our audience and earn themselves the top prize. Participation is completely voluntary and song selections will be on a first-come basis.)  

Mind’s Eye Theatre Company is a 501c3 non-profit. We strive to create a safe theatre space for all to participate, regardless of race, sexuality, gender, or age. We specifically look to elevate women in production positions and provide opportunities for women to grow their theatre knowledge.  

Where will my donations be put to use? 

-Putting on a musical is no small feat! Between the rights of the show, the musicians, the costumes, the lighting, the sound, the directors, the technicians, and the venue, we can rack up a hefty bill. With your donations, we will be able to ensure our cast and crew donate only their time and talent, allowing them to focus on the quality productions you have come to love from Mind’s Eye.

COVID Information:

To reassure our guests,  volunteers, supporters and staff, the Mind's Eye Theatre Company has designated this as an event only for fully vaccinated individuals. Fully vaccinated attendees should, by the date of the event, be at least two weeks beyond receiving your final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Guests must bring their vaccine verification or negative COVID-19 test along with their photo ID. Please do not attend the event if you are not feeling well or have symptoms, irrespective of your vaccine status. METC encourages you and everyone you love, care for, or care about to be vaccinated.

All guests will need to wear a mask anytime they are indoors and not seated at their table, eating or drinking. If you have a condition that weakens your immune system or take certain medications, you may need to take extra precautions even if you are fully vaccinated, as advised by your doctor.
